PreviPharma Consulting GmbH is an internationally active research company in the field of plasma
protein based therapeutic development. Together with our partners from the plasma fractionation
industry such as plasma fractionators, plasma donation centers and technology suppliers, our
continuously growing team develops new medical and technological solutions from plasma donation to
address unmet medical need.
We are expanding our team at the CUBEX41, the innovative center for medical technologies in
Mannheim.

Area of responsibility

Currently we are looking for TWO dedicated and creative Lab Technicians for the following areas of responsibility:

• Assist in the development, optimization, and scale-up of bioprocesses for plasma-derived protein production, including upstream and downstream operations.
• Operate and monitor bioprocess equipment such as chromatography systems, filtration units, and bioreactors under GMP-like conditions.
• Collect and document in-process samples and data during manufacturing runs to support process control and troubleshooting.
• Prepare process documentation, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) in compliance with GMP requirements.
• Support process validation activities by performing routine and non-routine testing as required.
• Ensure adherence to aseptic techniques and cleanroom protocols to maintain product quality and safety.
• Collaborate with R&D, quality assurance, and manufacturing teams to implement process improvements and resolve technical issues.
• Maintain and calibrate manufacturing equipment to ensure operational readiness and compliance with quality standards.
• Assist in troubleshooting process deviations and contribute to root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Ensure proper sample handling, storage, and traceability throughout the testing process.
• Adhere strictly to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized laboratory environment.

Experience and Qualifications

• Completed vocational training as BTA/MTA/CTA/PTA/Lab assistant (f/m/d) or Bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related scientific discipline.
• Hands-on experience in biopharmaceutical process development or manufacturing environments, preferably with plasma-derived products.
• Familiarity with upstream and downstream processing techniques, including filtration, chromatography, and viral inactivation/removal methods.
• Basic knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and experience working in GMP-compliant facilities.
• Experience with process monitoring, sampling, and documentation during manufacturing runs.
• Ability to operate and maintain bioprocess equipment such as bioreactors, chromatography systems, and filtration units.
• Understanding of process validation and scale-up principles in biopharmaceutical production.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately record data and maintain batch records.
• Experience working in controlled environments, including cleanroom protocols and aseptic techniques.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including R&D, quality assurance, and manufacturing.
