Scientist – Bioprocess Development (f/m/d) in Full Time

PreviPharma Consulting GmbH is an internationally active research company in the field of plasma
protein based therapeutic development. Together with our partners from the plasma fractionation
industry such as plasma fractionators, plasma donation centers and technology suppliers, our
continuously growing team develops new medical and technological solutions from plasma donation to
address unmet medical need.
We are expanding our team at the CUBEX41, the innovative center for medical technologies in
Mannheim.

Area of responsibility

• Development of purification processes / manufacturing processes 
• Evaluate, select and order equipment that is most appropriate and cost effective for the studies performed at PreviPharma 
• Setting up and operating laboratory equipment for scientific testing 
• Assist in data analysis and interpretation and present results in lab and department meetings  
• Ensure research into new and existing processes, devices, technologies, materials and techniques and develop ideas for further investigation 
• Lead/support contracted research projects 
• Ensure the highest levels of compliance and technical documentation in line with industry protocols  
• Documentation of QM-relevant data and project reporting 

Experience and Qualifications

• At least a M.Sc. in a biotechnology field or equivalent through experience 
• Experience in collaborating with academic groups or biotech-companies is a plus 
• Practical experience in handling with blood products, protein chemistry and coagulation diagnostics are preferred  
• Experience with high-throughput protein purification and in vitro analytical techniques for protein characterization (e.g., SEC, MS) 
• Experience in the development of manufacturing processes (e.g. paste suspension, filtration, HPLC) 
• A proactive approach to problem solving and evaluation, ability to manage and meet multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment  
• Distinct capacity for teamwork, reliability, high engagement and strong communication skills 
• Communicative and fluent in English
